Last year, Pyaterochka sold almost 25 million puffs with sausages of its own production and more than 10 million cups of hot coffee
Sausage puffs and Greek snails with various fillings, as well as hot coffee – latte and cappuccino – were the most popular among customers of the Pyaterochka store in 2021. Such statistics on sales of products of their own production were provided in the commercial network.
In just one year, buyers of Pyattrochka stores bought almost 85,000 tons of bakery products from their own production. In addition to the Greek sausage and snail puffs, guests often enjoyed the beef samsa, cherry puffs and classic croissants. Slightly less often, Pyaterochka bakeries bought gipfels with strawberry filling and Berlin donuts with boiled condensed milk. In total, more than 16 million of them have been sold.
Also, in addition to fragrant pastries, shop customers often spoiled themselves with hot drinks. In 2021, in 1700 coffee points in the network, visitors prepared more than 10.5 million cups of coffee. Statistics show that across all chain stores, coffee is most often purchased on Thursdays and Fridays – these days account for up to 30% of total hot drink sales. And the most popular positions traditionally remain latte and cappuccino.
In the near future, the assortment of Pyaterochka’s own bakeries will expand: there will be bread baked on a stone hearth, as well as artisan breads. The chain plans to develop its own private label, which combines bread, pastries, hot drinks and ready meals, Pyaterochka Cafe. The new brand will not only unite the convenience food categories, but will also visually highlight a special area within the chain’s stores where customers can grab a quick and cozy snack, lunch or coffee with their favorite pastries.
