The UHF begins admissions to the diploma in processing of fruits, vegetables, bakery products


Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry (UHF), Nauni on Monday began the admission process for her one-year degree in Fruit, Vegetable and Bakery Processing for the 2021-22 academic session.

A UHF official said the degree was managed by the university’s food science and technology department.

“The program aims to train students to start their businesses in the field of food processing and bakery products.

The minimum qualification for this degree program is class 10 + 2 with at least 40 percent with no age limit for admission.

The application deadline is September 20 and a total of 35 places are available in the program.

The prospectus and the application form can be downloaded from the university website,” he added.

He said applicants should attach copies of detailed grade 10 and 12 grade sheets, a character certificate from the principal of the school last attended or an official or relevant Gram Panchayat Pradhan officer, a copy self-certified reservation certificate (if applicable), Rs 100 bank draft with admission form.

The application form along with other required documents should be sent by registered mail or express courier to Deputy Registrar (University), Registrar’s Office, Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry, Nauni-Solan (HP) -173 230, the manager mentioned.
